ParentSquare is our parent communication platform. All announcements should be made using ParentSquare.

Communication Expectations 

  • Parent communication is mandatory.
  • Communications should be sent out to all families on a weekly basis, in addition to a monthly newsletter.
  • Communications should be sent about program details (e.g., picking up in the gym instead of the classroom, lost and found)


How to Post:

  1. Site Home Page
  2. Click New Post
  3. Choose the class in the To section
  4. Add the Subject
  5. Fill in the description section
  6. Add any photos, videos, links, or docs (i.e. Monthly Newsletter Templates)
  7. Select your notifications option as “send at recipients preferred time” (IF THE MESSAGE IS TIME SENSITIVE THEN CHOOSE “SEND INSTANTLY”)
  8. Select Post Now


How to use Expedition Templates:

  1. Go to the Add-ons tab
  2. Choose Newsletter/Post Templates
  3. Click on the Start of Week template or End of week template
  4. Highlight and copy the template
  5. Go to the District or Site Home tab
  6. Start a New Post
  7. Paste the template into the description section
  8. Fill in expedition information
