 Daily Expectations Site & Team Support

  • Maintain communication with Site Directors and support teams
  • Respond to urgent operational, staffing, and family concerns
  • Support site-level problem solving and escalation needs
  • Reinforce calm, professional, and solutions-oriented leadership

Student Safety & Supervision

  • Monitor for safety concerns, ratio risks, and operational disruptions
  • Ensure emergency procedures and supervision expectations are being followed
  • Escalate incidents requiring Regional Director or Support Team involvement promptly

Communication

  • Review and respond to important emails, messages, and operational updates
  • Utilize approved AlphaBEST communication tools consistently
  • Maintain communication with principals, families, and district partners as needed

Coaching & Leadership

  • Provide coaching, encouragement, and accountability to Site Directors
  • Recognize strong performance and address concerns early
  • Support reflective leadership conversations and professional growth

 

Weekly Expectations Site Visits & Program Oversight

Conduct meaningful site visits focused on:
  • Safety
  • Program quality
  • Staff engagement
  • Curriculum implementation
  • Family experience
  • Operational consistency

Observe and coach rather than simply audit or checklist compliance

Staffing & Scheduling

  • Review staffing coverage and future scheduling needs
  • Address open positions, staffing concerns, and support requests
  • Monitor staffing stability and team morale

Program Quality

  • Monitor curriculum delivery and implementation fidelity
  • Review operational trends, family concerns, and program feedback
  • Ensure sites remain welcoming, engaging, and student-centered

Leadership Development

  • Conduct coaching conversations and follow-up discussions
  • Reinforce AlphaBEST Core Values and leadership expectations
  • Identify opportunities for leadership growth and development

 

Monthly Expectations Operational Review

  • Review enrollment trends, staffing patterns, and operational performance
  • Identify areas of strength, concern, and improvement opportunities
  • Support action planning and follow-up where needed

Compliance & Documentation

  • Review licensing, documentation, and compliance expectations
  • Ensure incident reporting and corrective actions are completed accurately
  • Verify operational systems and procedures remain current

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Maintain communication with school and district partners
  • Address concerns proactively before escalation occurs
  • Strengthen relationships with principals and school leadership

Leadership Reflection

Field Managers should regularly reflect on:

  • What is working well?
  • Where are teams struggling?
  • What conversations need to happen sooner?
