AB Studios App: Access, Login, and Offline Course Downloads

Use this guide to install and access the AB Studios Educator’s App, log in with AlphaBEST credentials, and download curriculum for offline use.

Before You Start

Before opening or installing the AB Studios app, make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or receiving a cell signal.

Student iPads do not have cellular data. Devices must be connected to Wi-Fi to download or update apps from the AlphaBEST Hub app.

Whenever possible, use Wi-Fi instead of cellular data. Wi-Fi is quicker and more cost-efficient.

How to Install the AB Studios App

To install the AB Studios Educator’s App:

  1. Open the AlphaBEST Hub app.
  2. Select Apps in the bottom menu.
  3. Tap See All to view available apps.
  4. Browse the app list for AB Studios.
  5. Select the AB Studios Educator’s App.
  6. Tap Install.
  7. Return to the iPad Home screen.

 

How to Log In to AB Studios

To access AB Studios:

  1. Open the AB Studios Educator’s App.
  2. Enter your account email and password.
  3. Tap Sign In.

AlphaBEST Education will use the following login credentials:

Username: [yoursite_email]@alphabest.org
Password: Alpha2025!

The password is case sensitive.

 

Download Courses for Offline Viewing

AlphaBEST sites should download curriculum before using it with students.

Do not use the curriculum without downloading it first.

To download a course for offline viewing:

  1. Open the course menu page.
  2. Tap Download Course.
  3. Download one course at a time.
  4. Keep the course menu open.
  5. Stay connected to Wi-Fi until the download is complete.

The Download Course button is located on the right side of the course menu page, below the image and near the curriculum title.

Do not close the app or leave the course menu page until the download has finished.

 

Important Reminders

You may see courses in AB Studios that are not currently being used by AlphaBEST. Make sure to look for the currently running curriculum before downloading or using a course.

Student iPads must be connected to Wi-Fi to download or update apps from the AlphaBEST Hub app.

Use Wi-Fi before cellular data whenever possible.
